Humpty Dumpty had a great fall...
21 weeks today... Fell whilst walking along the road (twice!), hit the head and face on a lamp post, landed on the belly and rubbed my knee on the protruding rock...
Looks like I had just been beaten up :)

Visit #4 to see Dr Jozsa
Weight Check: 60.7kg
That's 1.4kg in 4 weeks!
Though the little bean is 343grams...
And we have a dancing baby ready to PARTY!
Stick your fingers in the air and rock your bum bum
The scan is all good...
The brain is all in place, and so is the diaphram, kidneys, heart, gall bladder, liver, fingers and toe.
And he's definitely a boy.
That's 1.4kg in 4 weeks!

A Bean's Punch
Rather... many punches... Been feeling the bean punching the whole day... First time it's been so active.
Unfortunately, the papa still can't feel the punch yet.

Baby Moon
That's what some people call it - the holiday before the bean arrives.
We went to Centara Ras Fushi resort in the Maldives. A short weekend getaway, but it was a well worth trip! What a nice (and expensive) holiday before our big USA move.
Wake Up - Eat - Snorkel - Eat - Swim - Snorkel - Laze by the pool - Watch sunset - Eat - See stars - Sleep
Awesome!

Shopping for the little bean
Dubai summer sale! We bought 2 pieces for the bean for when he's a lot older...
First purchase was this...
A little cheesy... Since we both each have a Tommy H white polo shirt, the bean must have one too...
Our next purchase...
Departing souvenir of Dubai. The beans got one too though he's not really seen the lights of Dubai (yet).

Visit #3 to see Dr Jozsa
Weight Check = 59.3kg.
That's 1.9kg extra weight!
Today's Week 16, Day 6.
As usual, we had our scans to try see the little bean.
Well, not quite sure what the purpose of today's visit was for, but i guess it was meant to find out if the bean's a boy or girl? Doc took some measurements, listened to heart beat... that's about it.
After lots of jabbing on the tummy with the scanner thing, Dr Jozsa told us (very unconvincingly) that little bean is a boy. It took him about 15 mins to find the bean's thing.
Well... we'll find out again for sure at the next visit I guess!!
It was cool though, we did see the bean doing little punches, and i could feel those punch!
On a brighter note, I put on some weight finally. I'm now at my pre-preggy weight.
That's 1.9kg extra weight!

Lemons and more Lemons!!
I have lost my appetite! Weight has been dropping. Can't eat meat, can't eat anything, except spaghetti laced with lemons and more lemons!
Tomato ketchup are my favourite, and potato chips! What's the world coming to.
Oh... and the durian we bought... was awesome.

Visit #2 to see Dr Jozsa
Weight Check = 57.4kg
That's down 0.9kg in the last 4 week!
I'm supposedly Week 13 now.
Today's the big day to see if everything is OK - the big downsyndrome test and all. Had the blood test also at a whooping AED1200. Hopefully it'll be covered by insurance.
Due date has been changed! The Bean's out (supposedly) on the 5th of December now instead of 10th December. Hmm, bean's been growing faster than it should be??
Anyhow, today was a big relief.
Heartbeat (and heart) - checked!
2 hands - checked!
2 legs - checked!
Kidneys - checked!
And doc thinks bean's a boy!
Bean's head is still a litle big as most of them are (at this stage).

Oh oh oh! I'm preggy.
Went to see Dr Jozsa @ healthbay polyclinic...
Midwives took initial weight... and lets see how fat i get in the next few months.
Weight Check = 58.7kg
For now, "it" shall be known as the little bean.
Bean is so tiny... at a mere 1.7cm! Though small, the little bean has a pretty strong heart beat. We could hear it from the machine at Dr Jozsa's office. Sounds exciting and also strange....
